These pictures were made from inside the ferry after we had left Dover, on our way to Paris France. I traveled with Patsy McGahey, and Mark Mitchell. The window I took the pictures through was dirty.
This ferry ride was terrible. I got so seasick (queasy only). I didn't know better and when I started feeling poorly, I thought lying down would make me feel better. One of the worst things you can do. So - I sat up and tried not to think about the churning stomach. I was fortunate to not get physically sick, but the evidence that others didn't fare as well was to be seen as we disembarked. It was dark by the time we arrived at the Gare du Nord (North Train Station). We ended up walking to our hotel. Paris is the 'City of Lights' and it looked great! :)
