1983 - London England - SoHo

Professor Dwayne Goodwin came up to my room one night. He'd barely seen me while we were there. He invited me and Teresa W to go to SoHo for some wonderful Chinese Food. Since I worked at a Chinese restaurant, I was all about it.


I remember this sign that went across the street to the buildings, the colorful well lit up streets. It was vibrant and exciting. There is a seediness to it that you have to be careful of, but no issues were had while there. The ambiance was not all that, and I don't remember the name of the restaurant, but the food....my goodness the food was delicious. I remember some beautiful wanton soup, and entrees to write home about. It was a little hole in the wall location. We went twice. It was a serious haul across London to get to the restaurant, but well work it.  We went back once or twice more.
